An opportunity for kaupapa Māori researchers: New call for Whatua Tū Aka Full Proposal applications

Today, the Teaching and Learning Research Initiative (TLRI) announced a new call for Full Proposal applications to the Whatua Tū Aka pathway. The TLRI funds research projects that aim to improve outcomes for learners. Today’s announcement reflects the TLRI Advisory Board’s commitment to improving equity for Māori learners by supporting kaupapa Māori educational research and building kaupapa Māori research capability. Teaching and Learning Research Initiative announces new wave of funding recipients

The Teaching and Learning Research initiative (TLRI) is pleased to announce the three exciting new research projects that were successful in this year’s funding round. The TLRI congratulates and welcomes the three new research teams, who join 14 other TLRI teams working on projects that continue to receive funding from previous rounds. Established in 2003, the TLRI seeks to strengthen the relationship between educational research and teaching practice to improve outcomes for ākonga in Aotearoa. The TLRI 2023 funding round is open

We are pleased to announce that the TLRI is now accepting Expression of Interest applications for its 2023 funding round. All information, including key dates, is available at the Apply for Funding page. Since 2003, the TLRI has strengthened the relationship between educational research and teaching practice, with the ultimate goal of improving equity and outcomes for ākonga in Aotearoa.
